Bath contemporary kitchen, side extension, and pizza oven

The clients were keen to create a better kitchen layout, and after initially thinking a rear extension would aid this, the architect came up with putting the extension on the side so as not to lose light into the centre of building.

The client adores cooking so the kitchen layout was very important, as was the construction of the bespoke outdoor pizza oven.

With the new slim frame aluminium windows, doors and sky lights and the large picture window bench seat, we were able to flood the space with natural light.

The existing kitchen was repurposed in the utility room, which handily also served as temporary kitchen during the build.

The feature brick wall was repurposed from the demolition of the walls. All the Bath stone removed was then reused into the extension walls.
